What’s New at Avalon?
Updated August 1, 2025We are over half-way through the blueberry season, but our amazing plants keep producing and our fantastic picking and packing team are working so hard! We’re getting through our initial orders list and will likely have enough for a few extra orders at end of season. See below if you’d like to grab some berries while they last!
BC DAY: We are extending our U-Pick hours to include Monday, August 4. Come on by!

Order Direct
Email us at avalonberryfarm@gmail.com to place your blueberry order. We will contact you to arrange pick-up when they’re ready.
We prefer a minimum order of 30 lbs, but please ask if you need something else!
Stop by the Farm Stand
Freshly picked blueberries are now being stocked at the Farm Stand regularly.
Watch for the sign out on Faber Road
to drop by and pick some up!
U-Pick
Join us out in the blueberry patch to pick your own berries. They’re always a little sweeter when picked with your own hands!
Come U-Pick this BC Day!
We are extending our regular U-Pick days to include Monday, August 4!
U-Pick is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. If you can, please bring your own picking bucket!
About Avalon
We are proud to be CERTIFIED ORGANIC (IOPA #1923) which means we don’t use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or GMO products.
The Avalon Blueberry bushes reside in an ancient peat bog, which is very high in organic matter and provides the nutrients to keep them thriving. We have always grown 100% naturally, using a mix of compost and nutrients from nature to fertilize, and organic and manual methods to manage pests. We are inspected annually and work within an ethical system of continual review and ongoing support.
We are at 8286 Faber Road
in Sproat Lake about 10 minutes outside Port Alberni, just off Highway 4.
